Australia Post's Address Notification service is a valuable addition to the Mail Redirection Service in which you can easily notify organisations you deal with of your change of address. This service is free of charge and available to all persons listed on an Application to Redirect Mail for a permanent move.
There is no need for you to provide your new or previous address details as you have already done so when applying for your Mail Redirection service. We will pass on your address details as they appear on your Application to Redirect Mail form to the organisations you nominate.

Only organisations that have entered into an agreement with Australia Post are available through this service. If you wish to update your address details with organisations that do not appear on the Address Notification Organisations List, please contact them directly.

We collect your, and any co-applicant's, personal information to provide access to our Address Notification Service. This service cannot be accessed without providing personal information.
Disclosure
Your, and any co-applicant's, personal information will only be disclosed to those organisations you select.
Information about other people
Where you give us the personal information of a co-applicant you undertake to tell them you have done this and why, and of the contents of this Privacy Notice. You also undertake to obtain the express consent of any co-applicant for their personal information to be used and disclosed by Australia Post in respect of its Address Notification Service.

By requesting this service you consent to Australia Post using and disclosing your personal information for the purposes stated above.
Access
Subject to some exceptions allowed by law, you are entitled to request access to your personal information while we store it. All requests shall be assessed as required by law and we will tell you why if access is denied.
What you need to use the Address Notification Service
- Your unique customer reference number from your Application to Redirect Mail, located at the top right of your application form
- Check the Address Notification Organisations List from the link above and note the names of the organisations that you and each person listed on the Application to Redirect Mail form would like to notify
- Where possible, locate all associated personal identification numbers such as Account, Membership or Policy Number for each organisation you wish to notify.
